Job summary

RAC Travel in Western Australia is seeking experienced Travel Consultants to design personalised itineraries and complex multi-stop journeys for our members. You will manage cruise bookings across major lines and provide expert destination advice to create seamless travel experiences.

Using Sabre or similar GDS, you will coordinate flights, accommodation, tours and RAC add-ons, convert inquiries to bookings, and build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail travel sales.
• Cruise knowledge or interest in specialising in cruising.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong destination and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Sabre or similar GDS systems.
• Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster including weekends.

Full‑time availability preferred however part‑time hours will be considered depending on expertise level as per a 7‑day rotating roster including weekday & weekend work as required.

Please note: Successful candidates appointed to the Karrinyup Travel Centre will be required to commence on 29 September 2026 to complete an initial week of training, ahead of the new Travel Centre opening in the first week of October 2026. Successful candidates appointed to the West Perth Travel Centre will be required to commence on the first week of October, depending on availability & operational requirements.

• Availability to work on a 7‑day rotating roster which may include late nights, Saturdays & Sundays.
