Job summary

Impact Care Solutions is seeking Therapeutic Youth Workers to provide trauma-informed, strengths-based care for young people in residential OOHC in Western Sydney. Roles include full-time, part-time and casual positions across a 24/7 program.

You will build safe relationships, support routines and life skills, and implement de-escalation strategies while working with a therapeutic care team. OS & CALD considerations apply; WWCC and clearances required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with trauma or high needs.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Build safe, consistent, and trusting relationships with young people.
• Support daily routines, community access, and life skills.
• Implement positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies during distress.
• Collaborate within a therapeutic care team to plan care.
• Rotate shifts, including days, supports, awakes, weekends and sleepovers.
