Job summary

CatholicCare Diocese Of Broken Bay is seeking passionate Youth Workers to support vulnerable young people aged 12-17 in Sydney. You will build meaningful relationships, deliver engaging activities, and apply trauma-informed approaches to foster confidence and resilience.

Roles include permanent part-time (min. 60 hours per fortnight) and casual shifts, with a rotating roster across day, evening, and sleepover shifts. Training, support, and a commitment to safe, inclusive practice are provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work or willingness to obtain
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and behaviour support approaches
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Current NSW Driver Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
