Job summary

Brophy Family & Youth Services invites a Family Violence Practitioner to join a dedicated team in South West Victoria. This 2-year fixed-term, part-time (0.7 EFT) role delivers group work, counselling, risk assessment, safety planning and case management across evidence-based programs, including Men’s Behaviour Change and Family Safety initiatives.

You’ll work flexibly within a supportive, trauma-informed, gender-aware environment, contributing to service development and community safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent as per minimum qualifications.
• Graduate Certificate in Family Violence preferred or willingness to complete.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group work, counselling, risk assessment and safety planning.
• Provide case management across multiple programs with trauma-informed care.
• Support families, children and vulnerable individuals in a gender-aware framework.
