Job summary

Relationships Australia Queensland (RAQ) is seeking a Domestic and Family Violence Worker to join the Cairns team on a fixed-term, part-time basis (3 days per week) until 30 September 2027. You will deliver risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, and ongoing support to victim-survivors, collaborating with SFV Men’s program and Women and Children’s services.

• Trauma-informed, values-driven practitioner with strong commitment to victim-survivors.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and partners.
• Ability to navigate complex systems with safety at the center.

• Engage and build trust with clients; promote ongoing engagement.
• Conduct intakes and assessments; determine referrals and support plans.
• Develop, implement and review safety plans for victims and children.
