Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre in Horsham offers specialist counselling to individuals and families affected by sexual assault and family violence. The role provides intake responses, group therapy, and interventions for young people with harmful sexual behaviours, supported by a skilled team and regular clinical supervision.

Location is Horsham with flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development and salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Degree or above qualification in social work, psychology, family therapy or similar discipline.
• Minimum two years relevant therapeutic experience post qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised counselling to children, young people and adults affected by sexual assault or family violence.
• Provide intake response and therapeutic services in group programs.
• Intervene with children/young people who engage in harmful sexual behaviours.
• Report to Team Leader and participate in clinical supervision.
