Job summary

Anglicare NT in Darwin is seeking a Child & Family Counsellor to join the Resolve program in Ludmilla. You will provide counselling to children and families, assess risks, and coordinate referrals to support wellbeing.

You will also run group programs, deliver community education, and participate in interagency networks, contributing to ongoing service development with occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related social science discipline.
• Eligibility for professional body membership/credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling to individuals, families, couples and children.
• Undertake intake and risk assessments, develop safety plans and coordinate referrals.
• Facilitate group programs and deliver community education.
• Engage in interagency networks and contribute to service development.
• Occasional after-hours flexibility for programs.
