Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a compassionate Case Worker to deliver person-centred support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including co-occurring mental health and/or AOD challenges. Based in Woolloomooloo, this max-term fulltime role runs until July 2027 and requires trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.

You will provide holistic case management, advocacy and referrals, collaborating with internal and external services to help clients achieve stability,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Community Services or related field is required.
• Experience in case work or counselling with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence.
• Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic case management, advocacy, and referrals to clients.
• Collaborate with internal and external services to coordinate care.
• Support clients to achieve stability, wellbeing and greater independence.
