Job summary

Converge International in Australia is seeking committed trauma management specialists to support a diverse range of clients, including government and corporate organisations. The role covers rapid response services, triage, and one-on-one or group trauma support, using Psychological First Aid and related interventions.

We welcome registered psychologists or social workers with at least 3 years in trauma management and strong facilitation skills, able to work across busy environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling.
• Minimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy services.
• Passion to help people and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and report writing skills.
• Experience delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS).
• High level negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Collaborative work with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide Rapid Response Services (including critical incidents, planned support, rapid connect, disaster response and incident forums).
• Deliver Psychological First Aid and other trauma interventions to individuals and groups.
• Triage, one-on-one trauma support and group sessions for client organisations.
• Contribute to organisational learning by informing on themes and improvement opportunities.
