Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia seeks a Transport Systems Lead to manage a small Transport Support team across Melbourne sites. You will ensure day-to-day technical services for the Transport division and keep scanning, TMS and Web systems up and running.

Reporting to the Senior Director Transport IT, you will drive system innovation, oversee implementation of new transport systems, coordinate UAT, and manage the ticketing system and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport/Statistics preferred.
• Strong transport/operational/warehouse knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with transport systems and systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small dedicated Transport Support team.
• Ensure timely day-to-day technical services and support for the Transport division.
• Keep all systems (scanning, TMS and Web) operational and with maximum up time.
• Drive transport systems innovation within the transport division.
• Implement new transport systems and coordinate their deployment.
• Regularly review Transport Systems to align with business needs.
• Interact with internal/external stakeholders to provide high-quality service.
• Coordinate and conduct UAT across the business.
• Oversee Resource Planning including management of the ticketing system.

Working within a challenging and fast paced role you will lead a small dedicated transport systems team providing support to the transport division and wider business. The role is required to be able to be onsite across multiple sites in Melbourne. This role reports to the Senior Director Transport IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small dedicated Transport Support team
• Ensure timely day to day technical services and support is provided to the Transport division
• Ensure all systems (scanning, TMS and Web) are operationaland achieve maximum up time
• Drive transport systems and innovation within the transport division
• Implementation of new transport systems
• Constant review of Transport System to align with business requirements
• Daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders - providinghigh quality service and support
• Coordinate and conduct UAT across the business
• Is responsible for Resource Planning including management of the ticketing system

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport/Statistics preferred
• Solid Transport System skills and experience
• Strong transport/operational/warehouse knowledge
• In depth experience of logistics and supply chain processes
• Working knowledge of system, network and data base set-ups
• Systems administration background
• Stronganalytical & problem solving skills
• AdvancedMS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work outside of normal business hours required.
