Job summary

Randstad is seeking an Operations Supervisor - Transport (Dangerous Goods) in Western Australia for a permanent role. Lead day-to-day transport operations, allocate fleet, and manage driver rosters in line with CoR and fatigue rules.

Drive recruitment, onboarding, and performance management while ensuring on-time delivery and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a supervisory role in transport or logistics, with proven scheduling experience and driver leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory role within transport or logistics.
• Proven background in scheduling and leading driver teams.
• Experience with dangerous goods preferred.
• Ability to lead a safety-focused, compliant operations team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong day-to-day leadership, support, and direction to the transport team.
• Allocate prime movers and trailers; set departure schedules; manage driver rosters.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management in partnership with People & Capability.
• Ensure accurate scanning, manifesting, and depot communications for on-time delivery.
• Participate in incident investigations, enforce safety standards, and track renewals.
• Join weekend/after-hours coverage on a rotational basis.
