Toll Group is seeking experienced Operations Supervisors for our client in Eastern Creek. Roles are casual, ongoing with temp-to-perm opportunities, with two shift options: 5:00am-1:00pm and 11:00am-7:00pm.

Key duties include supervising daily activities, task allocation, ensuring loads are covered, and maintaining safety and KPI targets. Applicants must have transport operations experience and strong leadership skills.

• Experience in Transport Operations, including 3PL.

Responsabilidades

Toll Recruit are seeking experienced Operations Supervisors for our client based in Eastern Creek (Supply Chain for FMCG / 3PL site). Experience working in a similar role within Transport Operations is essential.

We currently have 2 vacancies, Monday to Friday, 5:00am-1:00pm and Monday to Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm.

These are a casual, ongoing positions with temp-to-perm opportunities available for proven performers. Casual hourly pay rate is $56.93p/hour (shift penalties may apply).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legislation
• Allocate tasks to staff to ensure daily requirements are met, including order processing and dispatch cut offs
• Allocation of next day's work to ensure all loads are covered; ensure pre-loaders have the correct documents
• Meet priorities, KPIs and customer expectations
• Communication with Contractors regarding daily requirements
• Ensure the highest level of service is provided to internal, external customers and stakeholders
• Comply with legislative WHS requirements, the Toll Group WHS Policy and related Toll Group policies

Skills and Experience

• Experience or an understanding of Transport Operations, including Third-party logistics (3PL)
• Strong leadership and performance management skills
• An honest, hardworking and reliable attribute
• Computer literacy in Word and Excel
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks as required
• An understanding of basic profit and loss and balance sheet concepts and sound knowledge of cost and cost analysis
• Understanding of the use of KPIs in the management of a business unit
• Ability to keep up with the physical demands of the job (manual handling as required)
• Choice of AM or PM shift
• Ongoing casual position with temp-to-perm opportunities available for proven performers
