Toll Recruit are seeking experienced Operations Supervisors for our client based in Eastern Creek (Supply Chain for FMCG / 3PL site). We currently have 2 vacancies, Monday to Friday, 5:00am-1:00pm and Monday to Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm. These are casual, ongoing positions with temp-to-perm opportunities for proven performers.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in transport operations or 3PL environments.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills.
• Ability to manage shifts and schedules.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• WHS compliance and safety mindset.
• Eligible to work in Australia and pass background checks.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily activities to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with procedures.
• Allocate tasks to staff to meet daily requirements including order processing and dispatch cut-offs.
• Plan next day's work to ensure all loads are covered and pre-loaders have documents.
• Meet priorities, KPIs and customer expectations.
• Communicate with Contractors regarding daily requirements.
• Ensure service to internal/external customers and stakeholders.
• Comply with WHS requirements and Toll Group policies.

We currently have 2 vacancies, Monday to Friday, 5:00am-1:00pm and Monday to Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm.

These are a casual, ongoing positions with temp-to-perm opportunities available for proven performers. Casual hourly pay rate is $56.93p/hour (shift penalties may apply).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legislation
• Allocate tasks to staff to ensure daily requirements are met, including order processing and dispatch cut offs
• Allocation of next day's work to ensure all loads are covered; ensure pre-loaders have the correct documents
• Meet priorities, KPIs and customer expectations
• Communication with Contractors regarding daily requirements
• Ensure the highest level of service is provided to internal, external customers and stakeholders
• Comply with legislative WHS requirements, the Toll Group WHS Policy and related Toll Group policies

Skills and Experience

• Experience or an understanding of Transport Operations, including Third-party logistics (3PL)
• Strong leadership and performance management skills
• An honest, hardworking and reliable attribute
• Computer literacy in Word and Excel
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks as required
• An understanding of basic profit and loss and balance sheet concepts and sound knowledge of cost and cost analysis
• Understanding of the use of KPIs in the management of a business unit
• Ability to keep up with the physical demands of the job (manual handling as required)
• Choice of AM or PM shift
• Ongoing casual position with temp-to-perm opportunities available for proven performers
• Competitive casual hourly rates - $56.93p/hour
