Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an Allocator to join the Blue Rock Quarry team in Queensland. You will coordinate daily truck scheduling and dispatch, liaise with quarry operations, weighbridge staff, drivers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth transport coordination, and maintain transport records and run sheets.

This is a maximum-term role for 12 months. You will bring proven experience in administrative roles, ideally in quarries, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work

  • Allocate loads efficiently to meet customer delivery timeframes and production requirements.

Fulton Hogan Industries are currently looking for an experienced Allocator to join the Blue Rock Quarry team. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily allocation of trucks, drivers, and loads to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transport operations across quarry and customer sites. This is a maximum-term position for a period of 12 months.

Your Contribution:

  • Coordinate the daily scheduling and dispatch of trucks.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of reports and paperwork.
  • Liaise with quarry operations, weighbridge staff, drivers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth transport coordination.
  • Maintain accurate transport records, run sheets, job allocations, and system updates.
  • Allocate loads efficiently to meet customer delivery timeframes and production requirements.

You will have proven experience in administrative roles, ideally in Quarries.

In addition:

  • Previous experience in transport allocation, dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling.
  • Willingness to learn and be part of a team as well as an ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to liaise professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention-to-detail, and a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Intermediate computer literacy data entry and cost monitoring.
