Job summary

Hamilton Island Enterprises, Brisbane QLD, is seeking a Transport Driver to join the Transport Team on a full-time permanent basis. You will greet guests, shuttle them around the island, and deliver insightful commentary to enhance their arrival experience.

The role requires a valid QLD MR licence, a clean driving record, and excellent interpersonal/communication skills, with prior bus driving or tourism experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum QLD MR licence with a clean driving record.
• QLD Industry Authority or eligibility to obtain one.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous bus driving experience.
• Tourism, resort or tour guide experience preferred.
• Passion for customer service and going the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Greet and safely shuttle guests between airport, accommodation, restaurants and island attractions.
• Operate scheduled shuttle loop and after-hours taxi services.
• Deliver engaging island introduction commentary.
• Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking and luggage.
• Maintain vehicles in clean, safe, and operable condition at all times.

TRANSPORT DRIVER - Hamilton Island / Transport Team

Your Role

As a Transport Driver, you’ll be the first friendly face many guests see upon arrival. You’ll transport them across the island while delivering warm welcomes and helpful commentary to elevate their experience.
