Job summary

Jim Pearson Transport in Brisbane is seeking experienced transport professionals to join our supervisory team. You will manage local pickups and deliveries, monitor driver performance and ensure CoR compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a 4 days on / 3 days off roster (4:00-16:00 and 16:00-04:00), weekly pay, and company-supplied uniforms. This is a genuine opportunity for career growth within a growing regional transport company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in an operations or supervisory role within the heavy vehicle industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Willingness to learn internal systems and adapt to time-critical environments.
• Reliable personal transport for site access.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely tracking and data entry.
• Planning and scheduling local pickups and deliveries.
• Maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.

About the Roles

Our roster profile consists of the following:

4 days on / 3 days off

Sunday to Wednesday

Wednesday to Saturday.

4:00 - 16:00

16:00 - 4:00

Key Responsibilities include but limited to

Accurate and timely tracking and data entry

Ensuring all driver paperwork is completed daily

Planning and scheduling local pickups and deliveries

Identifying and resolving operational issues

Making confident, informed decisions under pressure

Maintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

Communicating clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders

Promoting a safe and healthy work environment

Participating in safety initiatives and toolbox talks

Optimising load capacity for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Leading by example with professionalism and high standards

Monitoring and managing refrigerated (reefer) units
