Job summary

Rogers Transport Pty Ltd seeks an HC Refrigerated Local Driver to support our direct customer in Brisbane. This permanent full-time role offers consistent local deliveries, early-start hours, and the opportunity to represent our family-owned business with pride.

You will operate refrigerated trailers across Brisbane and surrounds, manage temperature requirements, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain high standards of vehicle presentation and customer service.

Qualifications

• HC licence required.
• Previous HC driving experience preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated/temperature-controlled transport is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Complete HC refrigerated deliveries throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas.
• Operate refrigerated trailers and monitor temperature requirements.
• Complete multiple customer deliveries and collections as scheduled.
• Ensure temperature-sensitive freight is transported correctly.
• Complete pre-start inspections of vehicles and trailers.
• Handle delivery paperwork, PODs and transport documentation.
• Maintain communication with operations and the customer.
• Ensure freight is transported safely and securely.
• Maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation and equipment.

HC Refrigerated Local Driver – Local Deliveries

Looking for stable local work, consistent hours and a dedicated customer operation?

Rogers Transport is seeking an experienced HC Refrigerated Driver to support one of our direct customers with their local transport requirements.

This is a permanent, customer-focused position completing refrigerated deliveries throughout the Brisbane and surrounding areas. You’ll be representing Rogers Transport directly with our customer, so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their equipment, presentation and service.

If you’re looking to move away from constantly changing freight and runs and into a more consistent customer-based role, this is an excellent opportunity.

Start Time

4.15am start Daily. - Monday to Friday

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Completing HC refrigerated deliveries throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas
• Operating refrigerated trailers and monitoring temperature requirements
• Completing multiple customer deliveries and collections as scheduled
• Ensuring temperature-sensitive freight is transported correctly
• Completing vehicle and trailer pre-start inspections
• Completing delivery paperwork, PODs and transport documentation
• Maintaining communication with operations and the customer
• Ensuring freight is transported safely and securely
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation of your vehicle and equipment
• Providing professional and reliable service at all delivery locations
• Reliability, communication and customer service are particularly important.

What We’re Looking For

You will need:

• A current HC licence
• Previous HC driving experience
• Experience with refrigerated or temperature-controlled transport highly regarded
• Good knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas
• A strong understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• A strong safety focus
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable attendance and a stable work history
• A professional attitude and presentation
• The ability to complete the physical requirements associated with local transport work

Previous refrigerated experience is preferred; however, we are also interested in experienced local HC drivers who have the right attitude and are willing to learn refrigerated operations.
