Job summary

On The Wire Group is seeking a Transmission Lineworker for a full-time, on-site role based in Termeil, NSW. You will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage transmission lines, including inspections, tower erection, stringing, and conductor work.

You will collaborate with crew leaders to plan work, manage shutdowns and commissioning activities, and ensure quality and reliability in field operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work safely in field crews.
• Demonstrated focus on quality control, compliance with standards, and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Practical common sense and sound judgment in assessing risks, solving problems, and making decisions on site.
• Experience in transmission line construction, maintenance, and fault restoration, including working at heights.
• Knowledge of Australian safety regulations, safe work methods, and use of PPE and fall protection systems.
• Valid driver’s license; high-risk work licenses, EWP, or other industry tickets are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Construction, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage transmission lines on-site.
• Perform routine inspections, tower assembly and erection, stringing and conductor work.
• Work at heights using specialized tools and equipment; read and interpret technical drawings.
