Job summary

NES Fircroft partners with a leading infrastructure organisation on a major transmission project in regional Western Australia. The role is a hands-on Project Engineer – Civil/Structural embedded in a live construction environment.

You will coordinate civil and structural works, review drawings, and manage interfaces between designers, contractors and project teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery with quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project/Site Engineer.
• Strong site-based construction experience delivering civil/structural projects.
• Experience on transmission, utilities, mining or major infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs and docs.
• Experience managing RFIs, queries and engineering changes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Practical, proactive approach in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering support during construction.
• Coordinate technical activities and manage interfaces between contractors and design teams.
• Review drawings, specs and technical documentation for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and verification activities.
• Address engineering challenges and ensure safe, compliant delivery.
• Support QA/QC, project close-out, and handover activities.
