Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking hands-on Production Operators for its Transformer workshop in Tomago. The role involves hands-on manufacturing, coil winding, core cutting and assembly of transformers up to 80MVA. You will work in a safety-conscious team environment and learn advanced manufacturing processes.

Applicants should have a strong safety mindset, team focus, and willingness to learn new skills. A current driver licence is essential, with forklift/dogging/rigging licences desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Cooperative, flexible and team-focused.
• Manufacturing, assembly or workshop experience is required.
• Transformer experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Mechanical mindset with confidence using hand and power tools.
• Driver Licence is essential.
• Forklift and/or Dogging/Rigging licences are desirable.
• Trades Assistant experience is advantageous.
