Job summary

APT Transcriptions is seeking experienced court transcribers to work remotely as independent contractors. You will transcribe audio, video, and live recordings of NSW/ Federal court proceedings, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy with strict templates and client manuals.

A stable internet connection, Windows 11 PC, and Infinity foot pedal are required. Daily transcripts during Sydney hours, with weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in court transcription, Federal Court or NSW. Experience with other courts and jurisdictions would be considered
• Typing speed of 80WPM (typing test will be required)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent hearing and attention to detail
• Able to follow templates and client specific manual
• Love to type

• Review, proofread, and edit transcripts to meet quality standards
• Meet delivery deadlines and support team priorities
• Identify and escalation complex transcription issues

TRANSCRIPTION- COURT TYPIST - WORK FROM HOME

It's an exciting time at APT Transcriptions. We are growing with increasing demand from our court clients and we need your help!

About you

We are looking for experienced transcribers to work remotely as independent contractors.

We require experience with NSW Courts and Tribunals (RSB) or Federal Court, but other Australian court experience will be considered. Any experience checking and compiling transcripts would be highly regarded.

Transcribe audio, video, and live recordings accurately and efficiently

Remote work - compulsory requirements:

Company Pty Limited ACN set-up for remote/work from home in court transcription. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE, but we can assist with payment of company set-up

Stable internet and Windows 11 computer with ability to work multi-factor authentication and remote desktop. Computer no older than 4-5 years, and must use an Infinity foot pedal.

Ability to work during the day (Sydney time) for daily transcripts - 4 - 5 days per week preferred.
