Job summary

Roland Berger Australia in Sydney is seeking a Consultant to join our Transaction & Investor Services team, delivering advisory work across the deal lifecycle for Financial Sponsor clients and strategic/operational diagnostics.

You will conduct market and competitive positioning studies, lead interviews, prepare presentations, and contribute to workshops, while developing on your own platform for growth in a collaborative, globally connected firm.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of work experience in strategy consulting, ideally in transactions
• Experience in value creation and with Financial Sponsor clients valued
• Strong academic credentials from a leading institution
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent English, written and verbal
• Analytical, financial modelling, commercial and narrative skills
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-based solutions and data skills
• Willingness to travel and adapt to consulting lifestyle
• Australian citizen or residency
