Job summary

Supagas is seeking a Driver Trainer to deliver skills-based and compliance-focused training across NSW branches. This field-based role is Sydney-based with autonomy to plan your schedule, travel, and impact operations.

You will work with the Learning & Development Manager to promote safe driving and compliant practices, with a full-time permanent contract and a competitive salary package. Applicants will have driver training experience, strong communication, and relevant licences (HR required;

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training to drivers, ideally in transport or related industries.
• Proven ability to mentor drivers and provide safety-focused training.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or working towards it.
• HR Driver Licence.
• MC Driver Licence is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and assess training programs for new and existing employees across NSW sites, focusing on safety and operational compliance.
• Review and improve training materials in line with legislative, operational, and industry changes.
• Conduct training needs analysis and design tailored learning solutions to address skill gaps.
• Manage training documentation and competency profiles, monitoring employee progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster continuous learning and operational improvement.
• Track and report training outcomes in the LMS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
