Job summary

Supagas is seeking a motivated Driver Trainer to deliver skills-based and compliance-driven training across NSW branches. This field-based role in Sydney offers autonomy to plan and manage your schedule while promoting safe, compliant driving practices.

You will deliver training to drivers, mentor safety-focused practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement, with opportunities for professional development and a competitive package including a vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

• Dangerous Goods (Cryogenics) experience is highly regarded.
• HR Driver Licence (MC Preferred).
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or willing to work towards.
• Experience delivering training to drivers, ideally in transport or related industries.
• Proven ability to mentor drivers and provide safety-focused training.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess training programs for new and existing employees across our NSW sites, with a focus on safety and operational compliance.
• Review and improve training materials in line with legislative, operational, and industry changes.
• Manage training documentation and competency profiles, monitoring employee progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster continuous learning and operational improvement.
• Track and report training outcomes in the LMS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Enjoy an autonomous role, plan your own schedule!

This role is primarily field-based, seeking a trainer Sydney-based and offers autonomy to plan and manage your schedule. If you enjoy a dynamic training role with variety, travel, and the opportunity to make a tangible operational impact, this is the role for you.
