Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Training & Group Work Facilitator to design and deliver engaging training and group programs across counselling, mental health, wellbeing, domestic violence, parenting, child development and child safety.

You will work with schools, government and community organisations to expand reach, combining clinical or human services background with strong facilitation skills to build capacity and impact.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or a related discipline, with registration with the relevant professional body.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or at least five years' training experience in a similar role.
• At least three years' demonstrated experience designing and delivering accredited and non-accredited training and group programs.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating programs across areas such as domestic violence, suicide prevention, mental health or child safety.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and ability to meet probity checks (Working with Children Check and National Police Check).

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate engaging accredited and non-accredited training, psychoeducational and therapeutic group programs.
• Deliver programs across mental health, wellbeing, domestic violence, parenting, child development and child safety.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to expand training programs.
• Monitor feedback and evaluate programs to improve quality, consistency and impact.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure programs meet funding and legislative requirements.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related discipline

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

Five years' training experience

Three years' experience designing/delivering training

Experience across mental health, domestic violence, parenting, child development or child safety
