Job summary

St John Ambulance Queensland is seeking engaging Trainers & Assessors to deliver practical first aid and CPR training across workplaces, schools and community settings in Queensland.

Sessions are designed to be hands-on, interactive and scenario-based to build real learner confidence, not just certificates. You’ll travel to client locations as required and adapt training to different industries and learning styles.

The Role

You’ll deliver engaging first aid and CPR training across workplaces, schools, and community settings throughout Queensland.

Your sessions will be practical, interactive, and scenario-based — helping learners build real confidence, not just complete a certificate.

What You’ll Bring

• Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent)
• Experience in training, education, emergency response, healthcare, or similar
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Confidence facilitating groups and engaging learners
• A professional, reliable, and positive approach
• Commitment to safety, inclusion, and quality training

You’ll also need:

• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
• Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain)
• Driver’s Licence
