Job summary

Surf Life Saving NSW is seeking enthusiastic Casual First Aid Trainers to join the Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW. You will deliver accredited and non-accredited First Aid training across NSW locations, including Western Sydney and Wollongong, with flexibility to suit training demands.

As a trainer, you will lead engaging sessions, assess learner performance, maintain accurate records, and support compliance and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience delivering accredited and/or non-accredited training programs.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/16/22 or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, accredited and non-accredited First Aid training.
  • Facilitate both face-to-face and virtual learning sessions.
  • Assess and review learner assessments.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance standards.
  • Assist with upkeep and maintenance of training equipment.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, professional and engagingCasual First Aid Trainersto join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality face-to-face and online training across Western Sydney, Wollongong and other locations throughout NSW.

About the Role

As a First Aid Trainer, you will play an important role in delivering engaging and compliant training programs that help individuals and organisations build lifesaving skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering professional, high-quality accredited and non-accredited First Aid training
  • Facilitating both face-to-face and virtual learning sessions
  • Assessing and reviewing student assessments
  • Maintaining accurate training records and compliance standards
  • Assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of training equipment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering accredited and/or non-accredited training programs
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence using technology to facilitate online learning
  • Experience in First Aid, Workplace Health & Safety, emergency services or a related field
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current unrestricted driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle

Location:Various training locations across NSW, with a particular focus on growth inWestern Sydney and Wollongong.
