Job summary

Civil Safety is seeking an Industry Trainer to deliver and assess training across safety and construction topics in the Townsville region. The role involves creating and updating materials, delivering practical sessions, and supporting students with varying language, literacy and numeracy levels.

Open to casual and Full Time roles, with requirements including a Certificate IV in TAE, 3+ years’ experience, Blue Card and Police Check, plus a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is required.
• Minimum 3+ years industry experience in a training or leadership role.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver practical, engaging training.
• Experience designing and delivering training aligned to AQF standards.
• Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain) and Police Check (or ability to obtain).

About the Role;

• Collaborating with subject matter experts to stay current on industry trends.

• Providing constructive feedback to enhance the learning experience

• Ensure training and assessment practices align with RTO and compliance requirements

• Maintain accurate training records and assessment documentation

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
