Job summary

Glencore is looking for a trainer to develop New to Industry Dump Truck Operators at Collinsville Mine. You will mentor trainees, deliver practical CAT 777 and CAT 793 training, and assess competency to ensure safe, compliant operations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Training and mentoring New to Industry Dump Truck Operators
• Conducting practical equipment training on CAT 777 and CAT 793 haul trucks
• Assessing operator competency and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting trainees through structured learning programs
• Promoting safe operating practices and site compliance
• Completing training records and competency documentation
• Liaising with site leadership and production teams to support workforce development

What You Will Need

• Demonstrated experience operating CAT 777 and CAT 793 haul trucks
• Previous training, mentoring, coaching, or assessment experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
