Central Australian College (CAC) is seeking part-time and casual Trainers and Assessors to deliver high-quality vocational education across Melbourne and Hobart campuses. You will assess student competency, support learning journeys, and help learners achieve nationally accredited qualifications such as CPC31320 and First Aid courses.

We value industry experience, current training practices, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate current industry skills directly relevant to the qualification.
• Have current knowledge of vocational training and learning practices.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check (Victoria).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality vocational education to students.
• Assess students' competency against the Training Package requirements.

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrate current industry skills directly relevant to the qualification

• Have current knowledge of vocational training and learning practices

• Have sound knowledge of the relevant Training Package

• Possess significant industry experience

• Have classroom-based training delivery experience

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Police Check

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check for Victoria

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration for Tasmania

• Demonstrate strong organisational, time-management and record-keeping skills

• Commitment to maintaining industry currency and ongoing professional development

Training and Assessment Credentials:

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an accepted equivalent

• Hold vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed (or equivalent)

• Current First Aid/CPR qualifications for the First Aid Trainer and Assessor
