Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education invites applicants to join the Guardian Learning Academy as a Trainee at Guardian Freshwater, Sydney. You’ll gain hands-on experience while earning a nationally recognised Certificate III, with the qualification fully funded and on-the-job pay.

You will work within a supportive centre, mentored by expert staff and receive paid study time to complete units of study wherever you are working. This role starts your long-term career in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required for eligibility.
• Commitment to an 18-month traineeship program.
• Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (or state equivalent).
• Ability to work full-time and dedicate additional time outside of work for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Earn while you learn – Certificate III fully covered and hourly wage for all hours worked.
• Gain real experience by working directly with children, families, and educators.
• Create meaningful connections and help design engaging learning spaces.
• Support play-based learning by assisting in preparing activities that foster curiosity and creativity.
