Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Ltd is seeking Trainee Field Technicians to support water industry leak-detection activities. No experience is required as full training is provided, including industry qualifications.

You will deploy and retrieve loggers, typically 80–100 per day, on hydrants and valves. Loggers are downloaded after 24 hours to assess leakage. A UK manual driving licence is required; company vehicle and fuel card are supplied.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Must be willing to work outdoors and lift/bend.
• A full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and retrieve loggers within a DMA for water companies.
• Day-to-day duties include deploying 80–100 loggers per day on hydrants/valves.
• Retrieve 24 hours later and download data for review.
• Role may involve lifting, bending and long driving hours.
