Job summary

Aqua Analytics is seeking a field-focused professional to conduct acoustic leak detection surveys on pressurised water networks and deploy IoT monitoring devices. You’ll report defects using GIS and field platforms while developing DMAs through night flow analyses.

You’ll travel as needed, work in a small team, and liaise directly with operators, engineers, and managers on-site. NZ opportunities are available, with per diem travel support.

Qualifications

• Field-based role requiring travel and on-site work.
• Experience with acoustic leak detection preferred.
• Familiar with water distribution networks.
• Willingness to learn and work in a small team.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acoustic leak detection surveys on pressurised water networks.
• Install and maintain IoT monitoring devices.
• Report defects using field platforms and GIS tools.
• Develop DMAs through night flow analysis and boundary valve verification.
• Coordinate project planning and delivery in the field.
• Maintain HSEQ compliance in the field.
• Engage with clients on-site.
• Occasionally work across the Tasman.
