LinCon Hire & Sales is seeking a motivated trainee to become a Truck Mounted EWP Operator, based in Sydney. You will receive comprehensive on‑the‑job training and work with experienced operators on major projects across NSW and nationally.

The role is entry‑level with no prior EWP experience required, and provides a clear pathway to becoming a qualified operator while supporting a busy depot in Moorebank.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual with a safety-first mindset.
• Willing to learn operating truck-mounted EWPs and related systems.
• Experience not required, training provided on the job.

Responsabilités

LinCon Hire & Sales is looking for Trainee Truck Mounted EWP Operators to join our Sydney team based at

Sydney based depot located in Moorebank.

This is an opportunity to learn a specialised trade while working with experienced operators and some of Australia's largest truck-mounted elevated work platforms.

You don't need years of EWP experience.

We'll provide the training and practical experience you need to become a competent operator.

What we're looking for

We're more interested in the person than the resume.

You could be coming from transport, construction, logistics, agriculture, mechanics, earthmoving or another hands‑on industry – or simply looking for a career change.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual
• Safety-focused
• Mechanically minded and willing to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Eventually able to work independently
• Prepared to put in the effort to develop their skills

You'll need

• HR driver's licence
• Construction White Card
• Good driving history
• Ability to pass the required medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Previous EWP experience is not essential.

Truck-mounted EWPs are used across telecommunications, electrical transmission, wind farms, construction, infrastructure and maintenance.
