P3 Search & Selection is recruiting a Transport Assistant for their Ipswich depot. The role involves admin, customer service and operations duties with a clear path to become a Transport Planner. Training is provided and you will work closely with drivers and customers to ensure smooth routes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willing to learn and develop in a logistics/transport role.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with MS Office are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day running of vehicles to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Update transport systems to track vehicle, trailer and job status.
• Ensure vehicles and trailers are serviced and MOT’d before use.
• Assist drivers and customers with queries and issues during a route.
• Support the team in learning and progressing towards a Transport Planner role.
