Wynter Street Medical Centre in Taree is seeking a motivated Junior / Trainee Medical Receptionist for a 12-month traineeship that leads to a Certificate III in Business. The role focuses on patient-facing reception, billing and general admin within a supportive healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be compassionate, professional and able to interact with patients.
• Good communication skills and a tidy, presentable appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients face to face and over the phone.
• Reception support for doctors and scheduling appointments.
• Open and distribute incoming mail.
• Issue patient invoices/receipts and bulk bill as required.
• Maintain reception area in a tidy and welcoming manner.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the practice manager, nurses and doctors.
