Job summary

Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, based in Corbould Park on the Sunshine Coast, is offering a Financial Services Trainee position within the project costing team. You will contribute to the commercial sustainability of the client through day-to-day costing, procurement and project administration, ensuring timely information for management.

The 24‑month traineeship is hosted with RoadTek, providing mentoring, training and opportunities to grow within the civil construction sector.

Qualifications

Desire to work in accounting and finance.
Interest and flair for numbers and finance.
Experience in data entry is desirable.

Responsibilities

Undertake financial and timesheet transactions in relation to daily costing, revenue claims in projects and work orders.
Review and update project costing and finalise end of month claims.
Requisition and monitor the supply of goods and services; assist with stocktaking as required.
Provide support, advice and expertise on costing and financial administration matters to project/team members.
Prepare and check employee timesheets for validity of allowances and entitlements; investigate payroll discrepancies.
