Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a qualified engineer to support medical imaging systems across Australia. You will perform preventive maintenance, updates, upgrades, and installations at hospital sites, with travel across state, interstate and overseas as required.

The role offers hands-on training locally and internationally, with mentorship and a focus on delivering reliable service outcomes for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray and nuclear medicine products.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained.
• Currently hold a restricted electrical licence is preferrable or able to obtain.
• Pride yourself on customer satisfaction and outcomes.
• Available to work overtime, shiftwork (7am-7pm) and weekends when required.
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Evidence of permanent work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customer sites including hospitals and clinics to perform preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades and installations.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding knowledge through continuous training and mentorship.
• Adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety policies during all field activities.

This role offers a unique blend of hands-on training locally in Australia and internationally, empowering you with knowledge and skills. We have a range of products across our Medical Imaging systems including but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray and Nuclear medicine.

A day in the life:

• Visiting customer sites which include public/private hospitals, private clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer-based courses, mentorship and hands-on experience
• Adhering to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies
