Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service professional to service medical imaging systems (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, Nuclear medicine) across Australia and internationally. The role combines hands-on maintenance, upgrades, and installations with continuous training and mentorship.

The successful candidate will travel across state and potentially overseas, build knowledge through self-learning and formal courses, and contribute to customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical or biomedical engineering or related field.
• Trade qualification or university degree required or preferred.
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customer sites including hospitals and clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
• Adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety policies.

This role offers a unique blend of hands‑on training locally in Australia and internationally, empowering you with knowledge and skills. We have a range of products across our Medical Imaging systems including but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X‑Ray and Nuclear medicine.

A day in the life:

• Visiting customer sites which include public/private hospitals, private clinics.
• Performing preventative maintenance, updates, upgrades, corrective service, and installations
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Maintaining and expanding your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, computer‑based courses, mentorship and hands‑on experience
• Adhering to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies

About you:

• The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained
• Currently hold a restricted electrical licence is preferrable or able to obtain
• Pride yourself on customer satisfaction and outcomes
• Available to work overtime, shiftwork (between 7am-7pm) and weekends when required.
• Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.
• Be able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in Australia.
