Job summary

Children First Early Education in Bundaberg is seeking a Trainee Educator (Certificate III or Diploma in progress) for immediate start. The role involves creating a safe, inclusive learning space and building strong relationships with families and the community.

You will work in an environment that fosters EYLF/NQF knowledge, with opportunities for paid professional development and progression within the growing company.

Qualifications

• Certificate III (studying towards) or Diploma in Children's Services (ACEQA approved).
• Current Blue Card and required first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma certificates.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQF.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an inclusive, safe, healthy and productive learning environment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Ensure health, safety and centre policies are followed per licensing and regulations.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Implement the educational program to meet individual children's needs.
