Job summary

nbn is seeking Trainee Customer Field Technicians in Hobart, Tasmania. This 12-month traineeship trains you toward a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology while you work full-time in the field connecting customers to the internet.

You will be employed on a permanent full-time basis with leave entitlements and supported by experts to complete the traineeship, learning how to be a Customer Field Technician. A company vehicle, tools, clothing and safety equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Trainee program toward a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work in the field.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

As a Trainee Customer Field Technician, you will:

• Work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet
• Be employed on a permanent full-time basis with leave entitlements
• Work towards a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology over the 12-month traineeship
• Be supported by experts in the field to complete your traineeship, learning how to be a Customer Field Technician
