Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking a Traffic & Permits Administrator to coordinate traffic management requirements, secure permits, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure regulatory and safety compliance. This is an office-based administration role suitable for detail-oriented individuals with strong organisational and communication skills.

You will work in a fast-paced project environment, coordinating with traffic control providers and local authorities to keep works moving safely and efficiently.

About The Role

As a Traffic & Permits Administrator, you will coordinate traffic management requirements with our traffic control providers, secure permits and approvals, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure all project activities meet regulatory and safety requirements.

This role is an office-based administration role, ideal for someone who has great attention to detail combined with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with our providers of traffic control and manage traffic permits and road occupancy approvals.
• Liaise with local councils, government authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor permit compliance and maintain accurate project records.
• Assist project teams to minimise disruptions and maintain program delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in administration-based roles, which require liaising and coordination with external providers, preferably within a heavy industry environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• The ability to learn quickly and/or have an existing understanding of road/civil and transport regulations and approval processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with a sense of urgency and adaptability.
