Job summary

GHD is seeking an Experienced Traffic Modeller/Engineer to support major projects in Sydney and across NSW & ACT. You will work autonomously on tasks with guidance from senior engineers and collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality traffic modelling and transport planning outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have 2–6 years in transport impact assessments, with SIDRA experience required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and experience in engineering and analytics.
2–6 years of experience in transport impact assessment studies, safety studies, traffic modelling and transport planning, in New South Wales.
Pro‑active and enthusiastic attitude, great team‑working approach and an ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated wider team.
Sound traffic management and engineering knowledge with a passion for traffic modelling principles and standards.
Well‑developed communication skills, including report writing and the ability to present concepts to a diverse range of clients.
Project experience of undertaking traffic modelling and traffic impact assessment project with SIDRA is essential. Experience with transport planning, safety studies and other modelling software (e.g. AIMSUN, VISSIM) would be desirable.
