Job summary

GHD is seeking an Experienced Traffic Modeller/ Engineer to support significant project wins in Sydney and NSW & ACT. You’ll work with autonomy on project tasks, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to proposals to grow mobility capabilities.

Bring 2–6 years in transport impact assessment, traffic modelling, and transport planning in NSW, plus SIDRA expertise. A proactive, team-oriented approach and strong report writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and analytics.
• 2–6 years in transport impact assessment, safety studies, traffic modelling and transport planning in NSW.
• Pro-active and enthusiastic with strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Sound traffic management knowledge and passion for modelling standards.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills for diverse clients.
• SIDRA experience is essential; AIMSUN/VISSIM desirable.

We are seeking an ExperiencedTraffic Modeller / Engineer to support significant project wins in Sydney and throughout NSW & ACT.

• Working with autonomy to deliver your own project tasks and client deadlines, with guidance from senior engineers
• Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines and around the world
• Contribute to proposals for business development and to expand our mobility solutions capabilities
• Provide an innovative and problem-solving approach to consultancy, adding value for our clients

What would you bring to the team?

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in engineering and analytics
• Between 2 and 6 years of experience in transport impact assessment studies, safety studies, traffic modelling and transport planning, in New South Wales
• Pro-active and enthusiastic attitude, great team-working approach and an ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated wider team
• Sound traffic management and engineering knowledge with a passion for traffic modelling principles and standards
• Well-developed communication skills, including report writing and the ability to present concepts to a diverse range of clients.
• Project experience of undertaking traffic modelling and traffic impact assessment project with SIDRA is essential. Experience with transport planning, safety studies and other modelling software (e.g. AIMSUN, VISSIM) would be desirable.
