Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to plan, coordinate and support traffic management across the ITS contract in Victoria. You will work with planners, field crews, traffic management providers and external stakeholders to ensure permits, access and traffic plans support the safe delivery of maintenance works on live roads.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic planning, traffic management coordination or road occupancy management in infrastructure delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of Victorian traffic management requirements and permit systems.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in fast-paced operational settings.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic management requirements for maintenance, inspections and minor works.
• Manage road occupancy permits, lane closure bookings and stakeholder notifications.
• Prepare and review traffic management plans and related documentation.
• Liaise with traffic management providers to ensure resources and equipment are available.
