Job summary

The City of Rockingham is seeking a qualified Civil/Traffic Engineer to contribute to traffic management and road safety initiatives. You will investigate traffic conditions, coordinate LATM schemes, and participate in community consultation on infrastructure upgrades.

Applicants should have a tertiary qualification in Civil/Traffic Engineering and demonstrated experience in municipal traffic projects, with strong written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.

In this highly specialised role, you will be providing inputinto traffic management and road safety improvement for all roadusers towards achieving integrated Transport Plan outcomes, conducttraffic and road safety investigations, coordinate Local AreaTraffic Management (LATM) schemes and be involved in communityconsultation regarding infrastructure upgrades.

To perform at a high level, you require a tertiary qualificationin Civil Engineering/Traffic Engineering and have relevantexperience in these areas. Any post graduate qualifications intraffic or transport engineering will be highly regarded. Inaddition to your professional qualifications and experience, youpossess well developed written and verbal communication skills, aswell as sound computer skills.

We are offering a gross salary from $102,707 to$110,461, depending on skills and experience and:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
