Qualifications

• Victorian TM qualification equivalent (TC1/TMI1 or above).
• Valid driver's license and white card required.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance on worksites.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain traffic management schemes, signage and safety controls per TMPs.
• Control pedestrian and vehicle traffic around worksites to protect workers and the public.
• Operate traffic management vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete site documentation including SWMS, reports and incidents.
• Perform vehicle pre-start inspections and keep gear/serviceable.
• Follow WHS rules and participate in toolbox talks and site inspections.

Job description

Paid under the Go Traffic – VIC Enterprise Agreement: Casual Day Rate $38.05 or Casual Night Rate$53.27

Daily Fares and Travel Allowance paid to all team members including drivers $22.41 per day.

About the role;

Implement and maintain traffic management schemes, signage, and safety controls in accordance with Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), regulations, and company procedures.

Control pedestrian and vehicle traffic safely around worksites while ensuring the safety of workers, road users, clients, and the public.

Operate company vehicles, towing equipment, arrow boards, VMS boards, and traffic management equipment safely and efficiently.

Complete site documentation accurately, including SWMS, job reports, compliance records, and incident reporting.

Conduct vehicle pre-start inspections, load and unload traffic management equipment, and maintain vehicles and signage in a clean and serviceable condition.

Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements, report hazards and incidents, and participate in toolbox meetings, site inspections, and emergency call-outs as required.
