Job summary

Metro South Health is seeking an experienced HVAC Tradesperson to maintain and repair HVAC plant and equipment across its facilities in Brisbane. You will work independently or with a team to diagnose issues, deliver planned maintenance and provide rapid technical support with minimal disruption to patients and staff.

This role requires coordinating contractors, managing parts and materials, and ensuring safety, compliance and quality across complex healthcare environments.

About This Role

Your new role:

As an HVAC Tradesperson, you'll deliver planned and corrective maintenance across Metro South Health facilities, using your technical expertise to maintain HVAC plant, equipment and infrastructure to high standards. Working both independently and as part of a skilled team, you'll troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate contractors, manage resources and materials, and provide responsive technical support with minimal disruption to patients and staff.

About You

You're a skilled and proactive HVAC professional who takes pride in delivering safe, reliable and high-quality maintenance services in a complex healthcare environment.

• Extensive experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, repairs and fault-finding, ideally across large or complex facilities.
• Strong ability to diagnose problems, assess options and implement practical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Proven skills in planning and prioritising work, managing resources, materials, costs, contractors and competing deadlines.
• Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with trades teams, contractors, stakeholders and customers.
