Evolution Mining is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Boilermaker at Cowal Gold Operations in Australia. You will maintain the safety, reliability and performance of our mining fleet, performing scheduled maintenance, repairs and fabrication across a range of mobile equipment.

The role requires a trade-qualified Boilermaker with experience in mining or heavy industry. You will work within a collaborative team that values safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker with experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment in mining or similar industrial environments.
• Safety is the priority in all tasks and you deliver high-quality workmanship.
• You are a team player with strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently and take a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and breakdown work on mobile mining equipment.
• Carry out heavy and light steel fabrication, welding and air arc gouging activities.
• Diagnose equipment faults and contribute to failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records and shift handover documentation accurately and on time.

What’s the opportunity?

As a Mobile Maintenance Boilermaker at Cowal Gold Operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of our mining fleet. Working within the Mobile Maintenance team, you will carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and fabrication work across a range of mobile mining equipment, helping to maximise equipment availability and operational performance. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.

Based at our Cowal Gold Operations, you’ll:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and breakdown work on mobile mining equipment.
• Carry out heavy and light steel fabrication, welding and air arc gouging activities.
• Diagnose equipment faults and contribute to effective failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records and shift handover documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures, standards and legislation.
• Participate in condition monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Work collaboratively with other trades and operational teams to meet maintenance and production targets.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and contribute to a positive safety culture
