Berendsen Fluid Power Pty Ltd is recruiting for a MR Driver / Trades Assistant to join our team in Newcastle. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, delivering to customers, inspecting the vehicle, and ensuring cargo safety on every trip.

Ideal candidates hold a current MR licence and forklift licence, with proven experience in truck driving and working with tradespeople. Join a large, safety-focused national provider with strong career opportunities.

• Proven work experience as a Truck Driver.
• Minimum current MR licence required.
• Forklift licence is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Loading/unloading and delivery to customers.
• Inspect vehicle and report any mechanical and safety issues.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Ensure cargo is safely secured throughout the trip.

Your Tasks

• Loading/unloading and delivery to customers
• Inspect vehicle and report any mechanical and safety issues
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
• Ensure cargo is safely secured throughout the trip

About You

• Proven work experience as a Truck Driver. Minimum current MR licence required.
• Forklift license
• Working with the tradespeople
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, particularly truck driving rules and regulations
• Strong time management skills
• Inspecting the truck to prevent any safety issues
